Abstract
A new decapod brachyuran, Agostella terrersensis n. gen. et sp. (Goneplacoidea) is described from the Lutetian, middle Eocene
outcrops of Agost (Alicante province, Spain ) increasing the number of new species discovered in this zone of the western Tethys.
The taxonomic placement of Agostella n.gen. is discussed and also the assignment of some fossil genera to the Mathildellidae
(Goneplacoidea).
