OraciÓn por Las Vocaciones
Loving God, You call all who believe in You to
grow perfect in love by following in the footsteps of Christ, your Son. Call from among us
more men and women who will serve you as religious. By their way of life, may they provide a
convincing sign of your Kingdom for the
Church and the whole world. Gracious and loving God, help the men and women of our parish
to hear the call to serve in the Archdiocese of
San Francisco. Our needs are great and our people thirst for your presence. Open the hearts of
many, raise up faithful servants of the Gospel,
dedicated holy priests, sisters, brothers, and deacons, who will spend themselves for your people
and their needs. Bless those who are serving now
with courage and perseverance. Grant that many
will be inspired by their example and faith. We
ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Amado Dios, Tú llamas a todos los que creen en
Tí a crecer en tu perfecto amor, siguiendo las
huellas de tu Hijo Jesucristo. Llama de entre nosotros a más hombres y mujeres que te sirvan
como religiosos y religiosas. Que sus vidas sean
testimonio convincente de tu Reino, para la Iglesia y al mundo entero. Misericordioso y amado
Dios, ayuda a los hombres y mujeres de nuestra
parroquia a escuchar tu llamado a servir en la
Arquidiócesis de San Francisco. Nuestras necesidades son grandes y nuestro pueblo está sediento de tu presencia. Abre el corazón de muchas
personas, y forma a siervos y siervas fieles a tu

Prayer for Seminarians
OraciÓn por los Seminaristas
Good and Gentle Shepherd, You provide your
Church with priests who are loving and generous of heart. You use your priests to feed your
flock with your Word and Sacraments. Bless
those men who are now studying to be priests
for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. Lead them
safely through the everyday changes and challenges of their lives. Help them to hear the
sound of your voice calling them to serve the
Church according to your Father’s will. Send
your Spirit so that more men will respond to
Your call to give their lives as priests for the
Church. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Bueno y Tierno Pastor, tú provees a tu Iglesia
sacerdotes amorosos y generosos de corazón. Te
sirves de tus sacerdotes para alimentar tu rebaño
con tu Palabra y Sacramentos. Bendice a los
hombres que están estudiando para ser sacerdotes de la Arquidiócesis de San Francisco.
Guíalos con seguridad cada día a través de los
cambios y retos de sus vidas. Ayúdalos a escuchar tu Voz llamándolos a servir a la Iglesia, de
acuerdo a la voluntad de tu Padre. Envía tu Espíritu para que más hombres respondan a tu
llamado de entregar sus vidas como sacerdotes
para la Iglesia. Te lo pedimos por Cristo, nuestro
Señor. Amén.
Prayer for Priests
OraciÓn por los Sacerdotes
Dear Lord, we pray that the Blessed Mother
wrap her mantle around your priests and
through her intercession strengthen them for
their ministry. We pray that Mary will guide
your priests to follow her own words: “Do whatever He tells you.” (Jn. 2:5) May your priests
have the heart of St. Joseph, Mary’s most chaste
spouse. May the Blessed Mother’s own pierced
heart inspire them to embrace all who suffer at
the foot of the cross. May your priests be holy,
filled with the fire of your love, seeking nothing
but your greater glory and the salvation of souls.
Amen.
Amado Señor, te rogamos que nuestra Bendita
Madre cubra con su manto a los sacerdotes y que,
a través de su intercesión, los fortalezca para
ejercer su ministerio. Te pedimos que María guíe
a tus sacerdotes a seguir las palabras de Ella:
“Hagan lo que Él les diga” (Jn. 2:5). Que tus sacerdotes tengan el corazón de San José, el esposo
casto de María. Que el corazón herido de nuestra
Bendita Madre los inspire a acoger a todos los
que sufren al pie de la cruz. Que tus sacerdotes
sean santos, llenos del fuego de tu amor, que
busquen solamente tu mayor gloria y la
salvación de las almas. Amén.

por las Vocaciones
Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. We
know that we are called to a more united family,
holier and filled now with the Spirit of God.
Clothe us anew with feelings of mercy, kindness, sweetness, and patience.
Sagrada Familia de Jesús, María y José. Nosotros
sabemos que somos llamados a ser una familia
más unida, más santa y llena del Espíritu de Dios. Revístenos de sentimientos de misericordia,
bondad, dulzura y paciencia.
May our humble home be fertile ground in
which under God may sow vocations consecrated to serve our Holy Church. Like the home in
Nazareth, may we, as Christians create in our
home a climate of faith, hope, and charity in
which our entire family clearly hears the voice of
God who calls us to holiness. Amen.
Que nuestro humilde hogar sea terreno fértil
donde Dios siembre vocaciones, consagradas al
servicio de nuestra Santa Iglesia. Que como en el
hogar en Nazaret nosotros, como cristianos, construyamos en nuestro hogar un clima de fe, esperanza y caridad, en donde toda nuestra familia
escuche claramente la voz de Dios que nos llama
a la santidad. Amén.
