Finca Valpiedra Reserva 2009 arrives in ProWein 2016
As part of Spain’s Top 100
March 1, 2016 - Familia Martínez Bujanda, with its 126 years of history in making wine, will participate
at Prowein 2016, a major wine and alcohol event being held in Dusseldorf, from March 13th through
March 15th.
During ProWein 2016, Familia Martinez Bujanda will present new vintages for the wines: Finca
Montepedroso 2015, Cantos de Valpiedra 2013, Viña Bujanda Crianza 2013, Finca Antigua Viura
2015 and Finca Antigua Moscatel 2014.
All of these wines will be available at the Familia Martínez Bujanda stand B234, Hall 10.
Also, our wines will be shown and tasted at the following activities:
At the Grandes Pagos de España tasting where Master of Wine, Pedro
Ballesteros, as speaker, will participate with our Finca Valpiedra
Reserva 2009. The tasting will take place on the 13th of March. At
14:00h. (Hall 10, stand A171)
Finca Valpiedra Reserva 2009, has been awarded as one of the 100
best wines of Spain in its price category; Spain Top 100 ProWein 2016,
and it can be tasted at the free tasting zone at Hall 10 Stand A201
Finca Valpiedra 2009 has been rated with 91 points by the Guía Peñín
and 95 points by Decanter via the Rioja tasting by Tim Atkin.
The Consejo Regulador D.O. Ca. Rioja will participate at Prowein 2016 with
their stand. One of its activities will be the Rioja Wine Bar, where we will
have our new vintage, Finca Valpiedra 2009. Also, in this stand some
master classes will be given: Finca Valpiedra will be on the 13th of March
at 16 h at the seminar Single Estate Wines and Viña Bujanda Gran
Reserva 2009 will be on Monday 12.30 h at the seminar Grandes
Reservas. (Hall 10, stand B62)
At the stand of the Consejería de Agricultura del Gobierno de La
Rioja visitors will be able to find and taste Finca Valpiedra Reserva
2009 and Cantos de Valpiedra 2013. (Hall 10, stand C52)
In addition, the new vintage of Finca Montepedroso will be tasted at the
stand of the Consejo Regulador de la D. O. Rueda (Hall 10, Stand A47)
And it will also participate at a seminar by David Schwarzwälder on the
15th of March at the ICEX stand.
Finca Montepedroso is a white wine that will age without losing its
characteristics, because of its exclusive ageing on the lees for five months.

The Consejo Regulador de la D.O. La Mancha, will also participate at the fair with their own stand, and
four Finca Antigua wines will be there for all visitors: Finca Antigua Syrah 2013, Finca Antigua
Crianza 2012; Ciclos de Finca Antigua 2010 and Clavis 2006. (Hall 10, Stand C234)
ProWein 2016 will have approximately 52,000 visitors from different countries and approximately 6,000
exhibitors from 57 countries. Wine professionals and visitors will assist to more than 300 events, tastings,
conferences and seminars.
