also learned the present progressive tense which is used to express what is happening right now.
Finally, you now understand the preterit tense which is use to express actions in the past with
definite beginnings and endings. Today you will learn how to conjugate your fourth tense. This
tense is called the imperfect. It is used to express everything in the past that is not an action
which has a definite beginning and ending.
