My friends went camping last weekend I cleaned my room yesterday I studied Science at school THE PAST SIMPLE —  Afirmativas: se forma añadiendo –ed a los verbos regulares y con los verbos en pasado simple (2ª columna de los verbos estudiados) en caso de que el verbo sea irregular. -­‐ Debemos tener en cuenta que no se añade –s /-­‐es en la 3ª persona del singular (solo sucede en pres. simple) He stopped his car / Mary broke the plate THE PAST SIMPLE Reglas ortográficas en la terminación –ed: —  Verbos de 1 sílaba acabados en 1 vocal + 1 cons: stop – stopped —  Verbos de 2 sílabas con sílaba tónica en la segunda: permit – permitted —  Verbos acabado en cons + y, la y pasa a i: try – tried —  Verbos acabados en -­‐e solo añaden d: live -­‐ lived THE PAST SIMPLE —  Negativas: sujeto + did not (didn´t) + Verbo en infinitivo My parents didn´t feed my dog yesterday. —  Interrogativas: (wh) + did + suj + Vinf ? Where did you buy those shoes? TIME EXPRESSIONS —  Ago: “hace”. En inglés siempre debe ir al final de la expresión. I saw her 3 days ago (hace 3 días) —  Last night: anoche last week / year / month… —  Yesterday: ayer in the past: en el pasado.
