Resumen:
Los objetivos generales del proyecto son: a) Evaluar el impacto de organismos
fitófagos en cultivos de importancia regional y b) Generar información sobre los
insectos perjudiciales y enemigos naturales presentes en una asociación de alfalfamaíz-cucurbitaceas y evaluar su incidencia en la producción. Los objetivos específicos
son: a) evaluar la incidencia de la defoliación de la oruga de la hoja Alabama
argillacea Hubner sobre cultivos de algodón con surcos estrechos; b) conocer aspectos
del comportamiento y daño del taladrillo Listronotus dauci Brethes en cultivos de
zanahoria; c) conocer el complejo de insectos fitófagos y sus enemigos naturales,
presentes en una asociación alfalfa, cucurbitáceas y maíz; d) determinar abundancia y
período de presencia de las especies principales y f) evaluar el impacto de los daños
en los rendimientos El desarrollo del proyecto permitirá disponer de conocimientos
referidos a factores biológicos, ecológicos y de manejo de insectos plagas en
monocultivos y en cultivos asociados, en las condiciones agronómicas y ecológicas de
Santiago del Estero.
Abstract
The objectives of this project are: a) To evaluate the impact of phytophagous
organisms in crops of regional importance and b) Generating information about the
pests insects and natural enemies in a association of alfalfa- corn-cucurbits and to
evaluated their incidence on production. The specific objetives are: a) to evaluated the
incidence of defoliatión of the cotton leafworm Alabama argillácea Hubner on cotton
crops in narrow rows; b) to know aspects of behavior and damaged of carrot weevil
Listronotus dauci Brethes in carrot crops; c) to know of the complex of phytophagous
insects and their natural enemies present in the association alfalfa-corn-cucurbits; d)
to determine of abundance and presence of the main species and f) to evaluated of
impact of the damages inthe yield. The development of this project will help to
dispose knowledge about biological, ecological and management factors of the pest
insect in monoculture and associated crops in the agronomic and ecological conditions
of the Santiago del Estero, Argentina.
