Curriculum Vitae Felipe Portocarrero, President of Universidad del Pacífico, 2009-2014 period; is Professor of Contemporary Social Thought, he was Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Political Sciences, former Director (1999-2004) of the Research Center (CIUP) and President of the Editorial Board at the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru (1991-2009). His research interests include the economic history of the elites and philanthropy in Latin America, giving and volunteering, the third sector and corporate social responsibility. He participated as researcher in the Johns Hopkins Comparative Nonprofit Sector Study, was fellow in the Kellogg Foundation’s Leadership in Philanthropy Program, and was director of the Program on Leadership and Social Development in the Andean Region. Likewise, he is member of the Advisory Committee of AVINA, member of the Board of Directors of ISTR, and Director of the Peruvian team of the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN).
