EDUSPARK Social Studies Second Grade is an interactive Academic Vocabulary game system in
English and Spanish written and aligned to State and National Standards based word. These words
scaffold throughout the system for vocabulary enrichment. Each teacher has the use of the EDUSPARK
Social Studies Second Grade USB for up to 5 computers within the classroom. Once the fifth download
from the USB has been completed, a new USB will need to be purchased. There is no renewal subscription license required for those five purchased on the USB.
EDUSPARK Estudios Sociales Segundo grado es un sistema de juegos interactivos de Vocabulario
Académico en inglés y español alineado a la base de vocabulario requerido por los Estándares Nacionales y Estatales. Estas palabras forman forman un andamiaje para construir un vocabulario enriquecido. Cada maestro(a) puede usar el programa contenido en la USB hasta en cinco computadoras dentro
del salón de clase. Ya que la quinta licencia sea descargada, se requiere comprar otra USB. No se requiere suscripción o renovación de las 5 licencias adquiridas en esta USB.

Vocabulario (ESL o LOD)
These sections will show you the vocabulary
words, with images and audio.
You can change from auto to manual mode;
with voice or without voice; without image
or without word, or use it with all features.
Esta sección le mostrará el vocabulario
con palabras, imágenes y audio. Puede
configurarlo en forma automática o manual;
con o sin voz; sin imagen o palabra; o usarlo
con todos los componentes.
All words in Spanish are in RED and all words
in English are in BLUE.
Todas las palabras en español están en

In "Manual" transition mode you can use
the digital color tools to underline or mark
the words.

Game: Sentences / Juego: Oraciones
Students are to read the sentence provided.
Student will re-order the missing words back
into the sentence using a mouse to drag and
drop the words in place.
To read again the sentence, hover the mouse
over the bottom arrow in the center and a
menu will appear. Click on the Refresh icon.
You can also move the menu left or right by
clicking on the arrows on the sides.

This game is a fun picture matching activity
that students can do in bilingual pairs (BP)
or independently. When a correct match is
found, the student will listen the word.

Game: Words and Coins

Students are to learn the use of the arrows and instructions that is shown on the entry page of this
game to play it. Once familiar with the movements of the system, students will manipulate the “boy”
to walk, move, and jump through the game to obtain coins for points.

Students obtain coins by either typing in the correct vocabulary word on the box provided or by

* Writing with accents in Spanish during the sentences game is not required, however, the students should either write all accents required
or not use them at all, mixing them will give a wrong answer.

palabras requeridas. Usarlos de manera inconsistente dará una respuesta equivocada.
