M7: muestra forense para identificación de fluidos y análisis genético/Forensic unknown sample for

M8: muestra forense para identificación de fluidos y análisis genético/Forensic unknown sample for
body fluid identification and genetic profiling.

M9: muestra de cabello para análisis de ADN mitocondrial e investigación de posible
contaminación/Hair sample for mitochondrial DNA profiling and investigation of possible
contamination
1. ¿Podrían las muestras forenses M7 y M8 corresponderse con una mezcla? Establezca la
naturaleza de los posibles componentes de la misma/Could forensic samples M7 and M8 be
mixtures? Determine the body fluid mixtures composition
2. ¿Podría haber contribuido a las muestras M7 y M8 alguno de los donantes de las muestras de
referencia M1, M2, M3, M4?/May any of the donors from reference samples M1, M2, M3, M4
have contributed to the mixtures?
3. ¿Se detecta contaminación en el cabello con algún fluido biológico?/Is the hair contaminated with
any biological fluid?
En caso positivo, ¿podría el contaminante de la muestra de cabello proceder de alguno de los
donantes de las muestras M1 a M4?/If yes, could the contamination detected in the hair sample
come from any of the donors from samples M1 to M4?

ANTECEDENTES Y PREPARACIÓN DE MUESTRAS/SAMPLE PREPARATION
Todas las muestras humanas han sido recogidas a donantes (D) voluntarios sanos. Las muestras no
fueron analizadas previamente/All human samples have been collected from healthy volunteer donors
(D). Samples have not been previously analyzed
Módulo forense /Forensic module
M7: sangre no humana (perro)/Non human blood (dog)
M8*: mezcla de sangre de dos donantes y esperma de un tercer donante: 2,5 ml sangre D2 + 1 ml
sangre D4 + 4,5 ml de dilución 1:1 de esperma D6/Mixture of blood from two donors and sperm from one
donor: 2.5 ml blood D2 + 1 ml blood D4 + 4.5 ml dilution 1:1 of sperm D6
M9: cabello de mujer (D5) contaminado con saliva (D2)/Hair from a female (D5) contaminated with saliva
(D2)
* Dado que algunos participantes han detectado la presencia de un cuarto contribuyente en M8 se va a proceder a analizar la
muestra de esperma separadamente y el resultado obtenido se discutirá en las próximas jornadas/Since four contributors have
been detected in M8 by several laboratories, the original sperm sample it’s being analyzed and the results will be discussed in
the next meeting.
