Resumen.
Entendemos como medicina organizada el conjunto de instituciones de la profesión médica y
otras, la forman más de diez y seis grupos, los cuales describimos con detalle en el texto.
Comenzando por las Escuelas y Facultades de Medicina, las Academias, las Sociedades
Científicas, los Colegios de Médicos, la Federación Médica, el IMPRES, los Organismos
Estatales de Salud, los Privados, las Profesiones Afines y las otras profesiones de Ciencias
Exactas y Sociales. En las Facultades señalamos la fecha de fundación, la ubicación geográfica
y el número de años de la carrera. Luego las asignaturas, los departamentos, número de
temas, horas semana y total de horas. En las Academias la fecha de creación y en la Nacional
mayor número de detalles, como: objetivos, miembros, reuniones, órgano de publicación etc.
En las Sociedades Científicas, su número y la historia de cómo comenzaron y su clasificación.
En los Colegios de Médicos su inicio y las funciones que desempeñan. La Federación Médica
su historia y papel en la vida nacional. Citamos algunos organismos estatales el Ministerio de
Salud y el Instituto Venezolano de los Seguros Sociales. La medicina privada, y las Profesiones
afines: Bioanálisis, Enfermería, Farmacia, Odontología, Dietética, Ciencias. Y las profesiones de
apoyo, en ciencias exactas: Ingeniería, Arquitectura, Economía, Planificación, en las ciencias
sociales: Derecho, Sociología, Antropología. Al final hacemos unas recomendaciones y
reflexiones y las referencias.

Summary.
The organized medicine is the Assembly of the medical profession and other who contributes;
there are more than sixteen groups, which are described in detail in the text. Starting with
Schools and Faculties of Medicine, Academies, the Scientific Societies, Colleges of Physicians,
the Medical Federation, Medical and Social prevention, State agencies of health, and private,
the allied professions and other professions of exact and social sciences. In schools we pointed
out the date of foundation, the geographical location and the number of years of study. Then
the chapters, departments, topics, week and total hours. At the Academies date of
Foundation and in the National more details such as: objectives, members, meetings, organ of
publication etc. In the scientific societies, their number and the history of how it began and
their classification. Medical Colleges their home and the roles played. The Federation Medical
History and action in national medical life. Quoting the Ministry of Health and the Venezuelan
Institute of social security, and private care. Related professions: bioanalysis, nursing,
pharmacy, dentistry, dietetics, science. And the professions of support, in exact sciences:
engineering, architecture, economics, planning, in the social sciences: law, sociology,
anthropology. At the end we make some recommendations and reflections and references.
