¿Cuándo usar “to” y “at”?
- Preposición “To” - dirección
- “To the” - lugares de la ciudad.
Ej. The girls go to the movies.
Preposición “to”
Lugares de la ciudad:
a) to the store
b) to the supermarket
c) to the park
Nota: Se usa con verbos
de movimiento como: GO,
WALK, RUN,DRIVE.
Sin “the”: to jail, to prision, to school, to class
Preposición “to”
- Verbos en infinitivo (Ej. to jump, to eat)
- Después de otro verbo en la misma oración.
Ej. I want to eat an apple.
I agreed to sign the contract.
She will learn to drive a car.
Preposición “at”
- Punto de ubicación (lugar, tiempo)
Ejemplos: at noon
at night
at 5 ó clock
at school
at work
at the door
¿Cuál es la diferencia entre “between” y “among”
Between:
Entre dos cosas o dos grupos de cosas.
The mother is between
John and Charles.
The mother is between the kids.
Among
Significa “entre” 3 o más elementos.
The teacher is among the
students.
¿Qué significa “would” y “should”?
SHOULD
Verbo modal: “debería”
Uso: dar sugerencia
WOULD
Verbo Modal: terminación “-ría”
