Welcome to the admissions process at Sacred Heart Catholic School. We hope the information
within the Admissions Packet provides the depth of our program and community. We offer a dual
language and immersion education in English and Spanish, within a Catholic elementary and secondary
setting. Students develop bilingualism and bi-literacy in both Spanish and English, achieve high
academic standards, and adopt positive cross-cultural attitudes and behaviors. Our program nurtures
the complete development of each individual student academically, socially and spiritually. We work to
offer rigorous academic programs and align our instruction and daily interactions with Catholic values
and faith.
You may visit the school throughout the year by calling our main number and making an
appointment. We encourage you to attend our Open House held annually in January on the Sunday
commencing Catholic Schools Week. You may submit the application found online anytime starting in
January, or turn it in at the Open House and schedule an exposure day for your child to take place during
the months of February and March. Parents will be notified of their child’s acceptance by the end of
March.

Bienvenidos al proceso de matriculación a la Escuela Católica del Sagrado Corazón. Esperamos
que la información que encontrara dentro del Paquete de Matriculación le proporcione la profundidad
de nuestro programa y comunidad. Ofrecemos una educación bilingüe y de inmersión en inglés y
español, dentro de un ambiente Católico en escuelas primaria y secundaria. Los estudiantes desarrollan
el bilingüismo y alfabetización en inglés y español, lograr estándares académico de alto nivel, y adoptar
actitudes positivas entre las culturas y comportamientos. Nuestro programa fomenta el desarrollo
integral de cada estudiante académicamente, socialmente y espiritualmente. Trabajamos para ofrecer
programas académicos rigurosos y alinear nuestra instrucción y con las interacciones diarias, los valores
católicos y la fe.
Usted puede visitar la escuela durante el año por llamar nuestro número de teléfono y hacer
una cita. Les sugiramos que asisten nuestro evento de Puertas Abiertas que sucede cada año en enero
durante el domingo que comienza la Semana de Escuelas Católicas. Usted puedes entregar su aplicación
que se encuentra por internet comenzando en enero, o en persona durante el evento de Puertas
Abiertas y planificar un día de orientación para su hijo que tomara durante los meces de febrero y
marzo. Padres serán notificados al final de marzo si su hijo fue aceptado.
