MAGNETIC DRUM
Introduction:
IDEMAG magnetic drums are ideal for the continuous removal of ferrous contamination from any dry bulk
material.
The drums should be placed at the end of the conveyors or vibratory feeders. The magnetic circuit is constructed with ceramic magnets or with rare earths magnets. It is incorporated within a stainless steel casing
which protects the magnets of the impacts of ferrous elements.
The permanent magnets remain static, the outer sleeve is the one turning around the drum allowing the unit
to clean continuously the ferrous contamination.
We have different types of units depending on the surface to be cleaned.
Limpieza:
El producto elaborado cae sobre la superficie del tambor, donde cualquier partícula ferrosa es atraída y retenida por el campo magnético. A medida que el tambor gira, las aletas de la unidad mueven la contaminación
a la parte trasera del tambor, donde el área magnética termina, lo que permite la contaminación caer en la
dirección opuesta del material que se procesa. El tambor gira a entre 20-25 rpm asegurando que incluso
productos muy contaminados pueden ser separados.
Cleaning:
The finished product falls into the drum surface, where any ferrous particle is attracted and retained by the
magnetic field. As the drum rotates, the flaps move contamination particles to the backside of the drum,
where the magnetic field ende. Allowing the contamination to fall into the opposite direction of the material
being processed. The drum rotates between 20 to 25 rpm ensuring that even highly contaminated products
can be separated.

Introducción:
Los tambores magnéticos de IDEMAG, son ideales para la eliminación continua de la contaminación por partículas ferrosas de cualquier material a granel en estado seco.
Los tambores deben ser colocados en el extremo de descarga de los transportadores o alimentadores vibratorios. El circuito magnético esta construido tanto con imanes cerámicos como con de tierras raras, dicho
circuito magnético esta incorporado dentro de una carcasa de acero inoxidable, que protege los imanes de
los impactos de los elementos ferrosos contaminantes en la materia.
Los imanes permanentes permanecen estáticos, por lo que gira realmente es la camisa exterior del tambor
permitiendo a la unidad estar limpiando continuamente la contaminación ferrosa.
Hay disponibles diferentes tipos de unidades según las necesidades a descontaminar.
