LOS VERBOS SON ACCIONES QUE LOS SUJETOS O PRONOMBRES DEBEN DESARROLLAR EN LAS ORACIONES. CUANDO EN NUESTRAS ORACIONES POSITIVAS UTILIZAMOS PRONOMBRES O SUJETOS EN 3RA PERSONA DEL SINGULAR (HE, SHE, IT; MARY, JOHN, THOMAS…) DEBEMOS SIEMPRE AGREGAR “S” O “ES” AL FINAL DEL VERBO. POR EJEMPLO: She goes to the beach every weekend. (Ella va a la playa todos los fines de semana) He works in that office from on Monday to Friday. (él trabaja en esa oficina desde Lunes a Viernes) Nosotros debemos agregar “es” al final de algún verbo que termine en las siguientes letras: O – X – S – SS – CH – SH. Por ejemplo: do catch wash – - does (hacer) catches (tomar) washes (lavar) Debemos agregar “s” al final de todos los verbos terminados en otras letras que no fueron nombradas en el punto anterior. Por ejemplo: listen walk build eat - listens walks builds eats Oraciones negativas: En las oraciones negativas debemos utilizar los auxiliaries con la negación “not”. Estos auxiliares son: “do not” o “does not”; estos deben estar escritos después del pronombre o sujeto y antes del verbo, el cual debe ser escrito en infinitivo. El auxiliar “does not” debe ser utilizado con los pronombres o sujetos que se relacionan con las 3ras personas del singular (he – she – it). El auxiliar “do not” debe ser utilizado con los pronombres o sujetos que se relacionen con: I - YOU – WE – THEY. (singular y plural) Ejemplo: She does not sing a song. (Ella no canta una canción) Susan does not buy some candies. (Susan no compra algunos dulces) They “do not travel” around the world. (Ellos no viajan por alrededor del mundo) Thomas and Peter “do not work” in their proyect. (Thomas y Peter no trabajan en sus proyectos) Oraciones de pregunta: En las oraciones de preguntas o interrogativas, debemos utilizar los auxiliares “do” o “does” antes del pronombre o sujeto; luego de cada pronombre o sujeto, escribimos los verbos principales en infinitivo (sin cambios).
