Las playas en NJ y en Latinoamérica
These past few weeks in Spanish class have been dedicated to talking about our past
summer and our upcoming fall. We talked about the weather, activities and fun filled
places we go with our families and friends during the summer. One of these places is
the beach. We read a poem about the waves and even heard some songs dedicated
to them. The last part of our summer review is to investigate the beautiful beaches
in Latinoamérica and compare them to our favorite New Jersey shores. Remember
that an important part of learning a language is making connections from our world
to the Spanish speaking world. Each of you will be given a beach in Latinoamérica.
You will be given one day of class time to research the beach. Using that research
please make a poster that answers the following questions:
