How do you know when to use a reflexive verb? You use it when the infinitive verb, or unconjugated verb, has se attached to it. Can you think of any verbs with se attached to it? Despertarse Lavarse Maquillarse Acostarse ¿CÓMO SE CONJUGA EL VERBO? How do we conjugate these verbs, if they end in se? There are 4 steps to conjugating reflexive verbs: 1. Take off the se (Lavarse → Lavar) 2. Conjugate the verb to the appropriate subject (Lavar → Lavo) 3. Put the reflexive pronoun back, but in front (Lavo → Se Lavo) 4. Change the pronoun to match the subject (Se Lavo → Me Lavo) Me lavo means I wash myself. ¡PRACTIQUEMOS JUNTOS!
