Reseña Biográfica
The Mont Pelerín Society fue fundada por F.A. Hayek en 1947 y tiene como objetivo
facilitar el intercambio de ideas entre académicos, con el fin de fortalecer los principios
y la práctica de una sociedad libre y para estudiar el funcionamiento, virtudes y
defectos de los sistemas orientados al mercado económico. Dentro de sus miembros
se encuentran altos funcionarios del gobierno, receptores del Premio Nobel, expertos
económicos y financieros, periodistas y juristas de todo el mundo.
Sus miembros se reúnen 1 ó 2 veces al año en diferentes países, para presentar un
análisis reciente de ideas, tendencias y eventos.
