Travel + Leisure puts refurbished landmark on 2016 It List of the most exciting
openings in the world

Just a few months after reopening the doors of a historic landmark as a new Four Seasons experience,
the newly restored and enhanced Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogotá has earned its first major
international accolade.

“The impeccably preserved home has been reborn as the hot place to stay in Bogota’s booming epicurean
haven, Zona G,” describes Travel + Leisure in its prestigious It List 2016: the Best New Hotels Around the
Globe, noting carefully restored details such slanted wooden beams, hand-carved doors and fireplaces that
make each of 62 rooms and suites unique.
The US-based magazine further recommends: “Be sure to stop by the sun-filled courtyard that connects
the [hotel’s] two buildings. It’s now covered with a glass roof and includes an all-day Spanish restaurant,
Castanyoles, where you can grab pastries with house-made jams by day or dine on tapas under the glow of
string lights by night.”
Travel + Leisure cited three key factors in choosing this year’s It List: “a killer location, impeccable design,
and the ability to bring something totally new to the table.”

While Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota continues to welcome its first guests with special
introductory offers, the countdown is on to the opening of its sister property in the Colombian capital, Four
Seasons Hotel Bogotá. With attractive opening offers including a hotel credit or complimentary night, the
chic hotel – which will also unveil a new Japanese robata grill dining concept and reintroduce one of the
city’s favourite power breakfasts - is now confirming reservations beginning April 1, 2016.
