the sacraments. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Arrangements must be made six months in advance.

Blessed Sacrament Basketball Program
TRYOUTS for our CYO Teams
Basketball tryouts are open to the entire Cypress
Hills Community and surrounding Parishes that do
not have CYO teams. If accepted on the team the
cost will be $120.00 per child.

Dos mil ave María: Empezando temprano en la
mañana, rezaremos 2000 ave marías. Después de
reflexionar sobre las enseñanzas de nuestra Virgen de
Fátima, vamos a usar los primeros sábados de cada
mes para unirnos en esta devoción mariana.

eso, el sábado 2 de julio, rezamos en el sótano de la
iglesia – en la capilla abajo. Si quisieras ayudar en

Del escritorio del pastor
My good friends,
We have officially begun the summer! Take a look
at our graduates. This is our ‘pre-kindergarten’ class
celebrating their closing ceremonies. You have no idea
how great it is to be at these ‘commencement
exercises’.
We,
here at Blessed
Sacrament, have the
cutest kids in the
world…and
the
smartest too!!
I shared in this
‘graduation’ as well
as
in
the
kindergarten – as
they left to go into
the ‘real world’…
first grade.
And
then of course we
said farewell to an
incredible class of 8th graders and sent them all on to
top notch high schools.
If you have not talked about sending your
grandchild to us, or at breakfast you have not talked
about footing the bill for your godson or daughter to
attend Catholic School for three or four years, I can’t
understand why.
Part of my rosary each day during these summer
days is that every single one of our kids – Catholic
School and CCD – are protected in a special way by
God’s angels…for a safe and a wonderful summer.
Space is limited for Sister Alice’ camp. I will be
with them every day. Please sign up TODAY! And
please do NOT be mad at us when we tell you that it’s
full. A Holy Spirit filled camp for two weeks!
Mis Buenos amigos,
Y cuando ya están hablando durante su desayuno,
nunca hablan de la posibilidad de quizás pagar la
tuición? Y entonces que regalo que tu ahijado/a
asiste la escuela católica tres o cuatro años?? Ni
están hablando de esta
posibilidad? Y porque
NO?
Tuve la alegría de
participar
en
la
graduación de ‘pre-k’ y
de un grupo más grande
de kindergarten. Esas
familias tienen algo muy
diferente y muy santa en
sus relaciones. Y me
alegro ser parte de una
escuela así.
También esta semana
nos despedimos de los
graduados del último grado. Les hemos mandado
ahora a unos de los High Schools mas excelentes de
la ciudad. Nuestra oficina esta abierta. Hagas las

Un parte de mi rosario cada día del verano es para
nuestros estudiantes de la escuela católica y de
catecismo. Ustedes han trabajado para que estos
pequeños amigos sean parte de la iglesia. Pues como
ellos son ‘mi familia’ yo ruego especialmente para
ellos. Que los Ángeles de Dios les den un verano
sobresaliente, y que les protejan de todo peligro.
Campamento conmigo y con la hermana Alicia.
Les pido que no estén muy bravos con nosotros
cuando les decimos que no hay mas espacio! Las
dos semanas se llenarán del espíritu santo y FUN
(alegría). Yo y el Padre José esperamos compartir
todos los días. HOY DEBES DE APUNTAR A TUS
HIJOS!

Summer Camp with Sister Alice:
We will
again offer two weeks of a spirit-filled and
religious summer camp.
Beginning
Monday July 11th and ending July 22.
Camp is open to any child from Catholic
School, CCD, and Sunday liturgy of the
Word group who leave mass and go to the
school to study the gospel. The cost will
be only $25 for each child each week. We
will walk up to PS 7 each day for lunch.
Camp will go from 8:30am mass until 4pm. Please call
the rectory office to register.

Alicia: del 11 de julio hasta el 22, lunes a viernes,

Mother of Fatima encouraged devotions on the first
Saturday of each month. On Saturday, July 2, we
invite all who would like to attend – for the entire day
or only for a little while, to pray the continuous rosary
in the chapel in the basement of the church.
