the opportunity to offer an Easter Mass Intention for a

My good friends,
TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY FIRST!!!
Those are my words always to anyone having problems
at home. Your ministry here at the church is second.
You need to glorify the Lord in your family and your
work. Take a rest from lector or teaching or choir
rehearsals and TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY.
Well, that’s what I’m about to do. GENERATIONS
OF FAITH was born because the family is in trouble.
The priesthood of Jesus Christ needs help. And so,
here’s what is going to happen for at least the next few
weeks – I’m going to TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY.
No more lines in the sacristy for me after mass. I
will be attending first and foremost to those of you who
have decided to support our FAMILY. Do you use
envelopes and did you make a pledge to the
Generations of Faith. Mention this when you call the
rectory and I will be reaching out to you FIRST.
Oh, don’t worry. Everyone will be served – whether
you’ve decided to share in the family’s burdens or not.
The hoards of parishioners who left last Sunday and
decided not to even listen to the talk in the Hall and
have a cup of coffee….I will absolutely be of service.
However, our church is desperate, and the brothers and
sisters who have decided to come through in the
moment of need…they deserve my attention
immediately. We have a job to do, and as their father, I
need to be their guide during this difficult time.
No more lines looking for appointments in the
sacristy after mass. From now on, you call the rectory.
And if you were good enough to make some kind of a
pledge, then you will be attended to immediately. We
are in a tough situation, and I am more than grateful to
you who have responded to my plea. Whatever you
need in these next couple of months…you got it.
Obviously, many of our ‘flock’ are taking Lent
seriously. And many more are NOT. Jesus is hoping
that all his followers will step up to the plate.
Prayer, fasting, and CHARITY; have a wonderful
Lent.
Ps.…it’s not too late. Join us in the campaign, give
up a little pleasure in your life, and offer extra and
more intense prayer. The last few weeks are always the
best of Lent.

Extra Confessions: We ‘hear’ confessions every
Saturday morning at 9am. However, during Lent we
put different days and extra hours so that everyone has
a chance to make a nice, simple confession. This week,
Father will be in the sanctuary on Friday, March 11,
after the 7pm mass until 8:30pm.

Mis Buenos amigos,
HAY QUE CUIDAR DE TU FAMILIA
PRIMERO! Esas siempre son mis palabras cuando
un servidor de la iglesia me dice que la familia tiene
problemas grandes. Vaya a pedir unas ‘vacaciones’
de tu ministerio. Por un tiempo, no puedes servir
como ministro de comunión o asistir ensayos de
coro. Pero tu energía se necesita en la familia, donde
tú tienes la obligación de glorificar al Señor. Bueno,
ahora toca a MÍ vivir esa sugerencia.
La familia – y yo soy el Padre – tiene un crisis.
El sacerdocio de Cristo no tiene el apoyo que
necesitan – y merecen. Estamos como iglesia
católica en un momento de emergencia. Por eso, YO
necesito concentrar en mis hijos, mis hermanos y
hermanas fieles quienes me necesitan. Por eso, no
hay mas filas en la sacristía buscando citas conmigo
los domingos. NO MÁS. Cuando necesitas una cita
conmigo, llames la rectoría.
Pero tienes que
mencionar a Alexandra que tú hiciste un compromiso
con Generaciones de Fe. Si tú vas a sacrificar por 5
años tu dinero para el bien de la familia de Jesús, tú
mereces mi atención en este momento. Y para que
este proceso y campaña trabaje bien, voy a responder
a ustedes inmediatamente. Como he dicho mil veces,
yo me quedo personalmente muy agradecido. Viste
el domingo pasado los cientos y cientos de feligreses
que decidieron regresar a sus casas y NO
COMPARTIR NI UN CAFÉ CON NOSOTROS EN
EL SALON? Que lastima. O si, yo siempre voy a
servir a ellos también. Pero ustedes primero.
Ustedes que me están ayudando para cuidar y
proteger la iglesia de Jesús.
Cualquier cosa que USTEDES de Generaciones
de Fe necesitan en los próximos meses….es tuyo sin
problema.
Pero vamos a ser honesto, muchos decidieron
acompañarnos y escuchar y ayudar. Muchos ya
están viviendo una cuaresma en serio. Espero que
las últimas dos semanas sean las mejores!
