SPIRITUAL ADOPTION Greetings to all, WEEK 34: Baby now weighs over 5.5 pounds and her total length is 20.25 inches approx. Because she is so snug in her mother's womb, she is not likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed and her liver can process some waste products. To view a very moving video about an unborn child about to undergo abortion please go to www.interviewwithunborn.com and watch "Interview With an Unborn Child." The narrator is the unborn child. This is really worth watching and sharing with everyone you know. God bless, Eileen ICF 45th ANNUAL ANNIVERSARY RAVIOLI DINNER! Dear Friends in Christ, After a lot of prayer and reflection I recently came to the very difficult conclusion that I needed to find another home for my dog, Homer. This was a very difficult decision to make and I know that many of you will also miss him. However, I found a great place for him in Crescent City. He now lives with a woman who happens to be retired and has had dogs all her life. She has 4 acres of land for Homer to run around in. She also has an 11-year-old Boston terrier, who is blind, and Homer gets along great with him. She has sent me pictures of Homer and all I can say is that she is spoiling him more than he was here. One of the pictures she sent me was of Homer sleeping on the couch with a pillow under his head. On a maintenance note, there are 2 things that we need volunteer help with. The first is that some of the pews in the Church are cracked and the need to be repaired because the cracks are pinching people while they are sitting. The second is that the large tree near the Our Lady of Guadalupe grotto needs to be trimmed because the branches have gotten a little too long. If you can help with either of these projects please let me know. In Christ, Fr. Raúl THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS FOOD FOR THE NEEDY (St. Sebastian parishioners and parish friends): Food for those in need will be distributed by the St. Vincent de Paul Society on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 2 – 4:00 pm in front of the Church. © Copyright, J. S.
