Note that the academic year in Argentina begins during the spring semester. Because many courses are yearlong, it will seem that there are more course offerings for the spring semester. If there are courses in a particular

How do I find courses on the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba website?
1. Start here: www.unc.edu.ar/estudios/carreras/grado. Note: This page includes all carreras offered at
UNC.
2. Choose a major by clicking on the link to access an overview of the major, including a list of course
offerings.
3. On that page, there should be a plan de estudios, which is a list of courses available for students in that
major. The courses will be listed by year (primer año = first year, segundo año = sophomore year, etc…)
4. Enter your course selection(s) in your Spanish Studies Abroad pre-registration form. Be sure to include
alternates.
5. Please contact Spanish Studies if the course you would like to take at UNC is a “must” for your
university in the U.S. so that the Resident Director can confirm the availability of your chosen course.
Course Details
All facultades (departments) and some of their branches called escuelas (schools) have their own websites
where you may be able to find course schedules, syllabi, etc. To find these individual websites please visit
http://www.unc.edu.ar/estudios/academicas/facultades-y-colegios.
Remember that once you begin your classes in Córdoba, you will have a 4-week Intensive Period before
beginning your integrated course(s) at UNC. At that time, students have the opportunity to meet with the
Spanish Studies Abroad Resident Director for individual academic advising before finalizing course registration
at the university. Additionally, there will be an Add/Drop Period at the beginning of the Continuation Period when
students can make additional changes.
