MINISTRY TO THE SICK & HOMEBOUND
Call the parish office to make arrangements to administer this
sacrament for one who is sick or homebound or in the hospital.
The Parish Priests visit the sick & homebound and administer
the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the
sacrament of the sick on the First Friday of the month.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound on weekends.

Call the parish office and make an appointment with one of the
parish priests for the required preparations and to set the wedding date. Ordinarily preparations will take at least six months.

QUINCEAÑERAS
Call one of the parish priests to make an appointment to set the
quinceañera date. The quinceañera is expected to have received

SOLEMNITY OF SAINT PETER AND SAINT PAUL
FROM THE DESK OF THE PASTOR:
FIXING GOD’S HOUSE
The stories of Saint Peter and Saint Paul
are fascinating. The Church was designed
to build its mission on these two pillars, to
preach the Gospel to all nations and offer
praise and worship to God.
Jesus called out Saint Peter and gave him
the charge to be the “rock” upon which the Church
would be built, indeed a divine mandate.
Saint Paul received his mandate when “a light from
heaven flashed around him”. Paul was commanded to
stop persecuting the Christians and realize the true calling and authentic worship of the living God. His journey
to Damascus, unfolded the divine plan and formulated a
mission to the so called whole civilized world.
Peter had a miraculous escape from prison that dumbfounded the guards. Paul was blinded by the extraterrestrial light, and regained his sight through the ministry of
Ananias, a Christian in Damascus. God’s amazing salvific
interventions not only save Peter and Paul, but also become significant milestones and points of references
from personal conversion to life-long commitment to
pray and preach and never give up, no matter how
costly the price might be.
Hence, they simply preached and witnessed Jesus Christ
crucified, who rose from the dead and continues to live
in our midst.
SUNDAY PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
Sunday Preschool registrations for the fall year 2014-15 are now being
accepted, please contact Rosa Gomez, Sunday Preschool Coordinator
at 650-589-0998 or email her at gomez548@comcast.net. This is a parent cooperative program and is offered during the 10:30 am mass in
English and at 12 Noon in Spanish. A copy of the child’s baptismal
certificate along with a $25.00 registration fee is required. We would
also need invite volunteer preschool teacher-help . Please contact Rosa.

that we can hand it (the Church of All Souls) down
with utmost joy and pride to our younger generation.
The „on-going Campaign for “FIXING GOD‟S HOUSE” on the
repairs and maintenance continues. Thank you for your support and generosity. The next upcoming work is “Fixing the
Exterior Steel doors” of our Church. The estimated cost was
$ 40,000.00.

As of today, we have received a total of $ 496,905.37. As per the
ARCHBISHOP’S ANNUAL APPEAL OF 2014
Each year our Archbishop requests our help to support
him to operate the central Archdiocesan offices in order
to coordinate and administrate resources for various parishes in the Archdiocese.
The cost of this endeavor is distributed among parishes
in our three counties of San Mateo, San Francisco and
Marin. Our share of the cost this new year is $
45,500.00.
As of date we have received $ 18,940.99 in cash, checks
& credit cards $ 2,105.00 in the form of pledges amounting to a total of $ 21,045.99 which is 46.25% of our
goal. The Balance we owe is $ 24,454.01

WEEDDAY MASS SCHEDULES FOR JULY & AUGUST
As we approach the months of July and August, please note
the following changes in the weekday Mass schedules from
July 1, 2014 through August 31, 2014:
Monday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday:
There will be only one Mass offered in our Church at 8 am.
Tuesdays: Masses at 8:00 am and 5:15 pm in English
First Friday: July 4th only one mass at 8am & August 1st:
Masses at 8am & 5:15 pm and Adoration of the Blessed
Sacrament (Holy Hour) at 5:45 pm.

All Souls Preschool is open for the summer program till
—August 18th, 2014 for children ages 3-5. We have
weekly themes and weekly tuition so that you can pick

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
is a year-round process available to any adult who wishes to
inquire into Catholicism. It is also an invitation for adults who have
not received and would wish to receive all the three sacraments of initiation: Baptism,
Holy Communion and Confirmation. R.C.I.A.: is a journey of faith, filled with Hope
and fired by love. This time is spent in discovering Jesus, to listen to him in the Sacred Scriptures, to focus on the Teachings of the Church, to worship Him and meet
Him at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and so grow in Catholic Faith, Hope and Love.

SOLEMNIDAD DE SAN PEDRO Y SAN PABLO
Reflexiones del Párroco:
Las historias de San Pedro y San Pablo son
fascinantes. La Iglesia fue diseñada para
construir su misión en estos dos pilares, predicar el Evangelio a todas las Naciones
y ofrecer alabanza y adoración a Dios.
Jesús llamó a San Pedro y le dio el encargo de ser la
"roca" sobre la cual la Iglesia sería construida, de hecho
un mandato divino.
San Pablo recibió su mandato cuando "una luz del cielo
brilló a su alrededor". Pablo fue encomendado a dejar
de perseguir a los Cristianos y darse cuenta del auténtico
y verdadero llamando al culto del Dios viviente. Su viaje a
Damasco, desarrolló el plan divino y formuló una misión
al llamado mundo civilizado entero.
Pedro tuvo un escape milagroso de la prisión que dejo
anonadado a los guardias. Pablo fué cegado por la luz
extraterrestre y recuperó su vista a través del Ministerio de
Ananías, un Cristiano en Damasco. Las increíbles intervenciónes salvíficas de Dios no sólo salvan a Pedro y a Pablo,
sino también se convierten en importantes hitos y puntos
de referencias de conversión personal al compromiso de
por vida de rezar y predicar, y nunca rendirse, sin importar el precio que cueste.
Por lo tanto; simplemente predicaron y fueron testigos de
Jesucristo crucificado, que resucitó de entre los muertos y
sigue viviendo entre nosotros.
Somos llamados por nuestro nombre (oyes Su voz...) y se
nos pide hacer lo mismo...
INSCRIPCIÓNES PARA LA ESCUELITA DOMINICAL
Las inscripciones para la Escuelita Dominical del año 2014-15 están

Este es un programa cooperativo de padres y se ofrece durante la
misa de 10:30 am en Inglés y a las 12 del Mediodía en Español. Se

El Preescolar de All Souls está abierto durante el verano

Cada año nuestro Arzobispo pide nuestra ayuda para apoyarlo en

El costo de este esfuerzo se distribuye entre parroquias en nuestros tres condados de San Mateo, San Francisco y Marin. Nuestra
participación en el costo de este año es de $ 45,500.00.
Hasta la fecha hemos recibido $ 18,940.99 en efectivo, cheques y
tarjetas de crédito y $ 2,105.00 en la forma de promesas que ascienden a un total de $ 21,045.99 que es el 46.25% de nuestra

Habrá una sola misa ofrecida en nuestra Iglesia a las 8 am
El Martes: Habrá misa a las 8 am y 5:15 pm en Inglés

1 de Agosto: Habrá misa a las 8 am y a las 5:15 pm y Adoración del Santísimo Sacramento (Hora Santa) a las 5:45 pm.
