AViD Presents Author James Edward Mills Authors Visiting in Des Moines (AViD) is proud to welcome author James Edward Mills to the Forest Avenue Library to discuss his recent book, The Adventure Gap. Mills will discuss why minority populations are less likely to seek recreation and adventure in the wilderness and what can be done to bridge that gap. This event is sponsored by the Forest Avenue Brick Fund Committee.
