The next Manning revitalization meeting will be on
Monday, June 29 at 6 pm in the community room.

Construction Phasing
Schedule Available
Initial Construction Testing
to Begin in Early July
A chart explaining the construction phasing
schedule is attached to this newsletter. CHA staff
is in the process of contacting those residents
who live in apartments in the staging stack to
discuss their relocation options and moving date.
Construction staff from Shawmut Design and
Construction will begin their initial investigations
and testing in early July. They will be working in
a few vacant units and on the roof in the coming
weeks, so do not be alarmed if you see them
around the building.
Residents in later phases will be contacted at
least 90 days in advance. Construction in the first
phase in anticipated to begin in early 2016. CHA
staff will discuss the phasing schedule more at
the June 29th meeting.
The initial testing will require coring through
some floors and walls and may be noisy, but
all work will only occur in daytime hours. The
common spaces will not be affected.
Relocation Reminder
No one has to move out of Manning Apartments.
Everyone will have to move at least once.
No one will have to move before September 2015
unless they choose to.
Everyone will be notified of their moving date at
least 90 days in advance, and CHA staff will meet
with every resident prior to moving.
Options are available for anyone who wants to
move early at any time.

ACT Yard Sale in August
The Alliance of Cambridge Tenants (ACT) is
having a yard sale Saturday, August 15, 2015
from 12pm to 4pm at Manning Apartments (237
Franklin Street) in the First Floor Community
Room. All proceeds will go to ACT. “Manning
Cafe” will be there selling delicious food to raise
money for Manning Apartments Tenant Council.

ACT在8月份举行庭院旧货出售义
卖活动
剑桥租房人联盟（ACT）定于2015年8月15日（
星期六）中午12点至5点举行义卖活动，地点
是曼宁公寓（富兰克林街237号）一层公共活
动室。义卖所得全部捐给ACT。届时“曼宁餐
厅”会到场出售可口的食物，为曼宁公寓租户
委员会筹集经费。陆续会有更多信息！
