Saint Ann Catholic School Parent Newsletter – December 3, 2015 Christ, Be Our Light Pilsen Planning Committee Update/ Actualización Comité de Planificación de Pilsen Over the past few months, members of the six Pilsen parishes have been meeting to discuss the future configuration of the Catholic Church in our neighborhood. Please note that there have been options discussed that include the possible closing of some of the neighborhood churches, including Saint Ann Church, but please note that the status of Saint Ann School and the other neighborhood Catholic schools are not being evaluated in this process. Saint Ann School is not in danger of closing and is not connected to this process. Fr. Felipe and the committee will keep us updated during the upcoming months. Our Lady of Guadalupe The church is looking for some donations of tamales and atole for the Our Lady of Guadalupe celebration on December 12th. They also need volunteers to help set up on Friday night, December 11th at 5:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Rosa Ibanez at rosa.ibanez@sandc.com. Scrip Gift Cards Order forms and money for our next Scrip order are due Tuesday, December 8th and you will receive the card the following week. For example, if you are going to spend $25 at Wal-Mart, buy a $25 WalMart gift card from Saint Ann School, and the school will receive a percentage from each purchase.
