Living a stewardship lifestyle, being grateful and
generous with our gifts, serves a twofold
purpose. One, it helps build God’s kingdom here
on earth. Two, it is a road map to Heaven. Let’s
help each other get there!

Para que todos respondamos al llamado de Dios a
construer Su reino en la tierra y nos ayudemos los unos
a los otros a llegar al cielo. “Hay un solo pan del cual
todos participamos; por eso, aunque somos muchos,
formamos un solo cuerpo.” 1 Corintios 10:17 Como
discípulos de Jesús, se nos llama a llevar vidas
sagradas e inviter a los demás a compañarnos. Al vivir
una vida de servidor, al ser agradecidos y generosos
con nuestros regalos, trabajamos para dos

The Fortnight for Freedom: Freedom to Serve will
take place from June 21 to July 4, 2014, a time when our
liturgical calendar celebrates a series of great martyrs who
remained faithful in the face of persecution by political
power—St. Tho mas Moore and St. John Fisher, St. John
the Baptist, SS. Peter and Paul, and the First Martyrs of the
Church of Rome. The theme of this year's Fortnight will
focus on the freedom to serve the poor and vulnerable in
accord with human dignity and the Church's teaching.

25th Wedding Anniversary Mass
¡Es tiempo de empezar a registrar las parejas que
celebran sus bodas de plata! Las parejas que celebran su 25
aniversario serán reconocidos el domingo 13 de julio a las
3:00pm en la Co-Catedral del Sagrado Corazón en Houston.
Inscripción es de $25 por pareja. Las parejas pueden
registrarse visitando www.archgh.org haga clic en "online
event registration" en la página principal y seleccione “25th
Anniversary Jubilee”. Los nombres deben escribirse
exactamente como desean aparecer en su reconocimiento.

It is time to begin registering couples celebrating their
silver anniversary! Couples celebrating their 25th
anniversary will be recognized on Sunday, July 13 at
3:00pm at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston.
Registration is $25 per couple. Couples can register by
visiting www.archgh.org, click on “online event registration”
on the home page and select the link for 25th Anniversary
Jubilee. Names should be typed exactly as they wish to
appear on their recognition. Couples must have all the
information requested, including the wedding date and the
name and location of the Catholic Church where the couple
was married (it is important to note that participating
couples must be married in the Catholic Church for 25
years.) For those paying by check or money order, the
registration payment must be received by Family Life
Ministry, before June 23rd to confirm registration. For more

Reflection
Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands
but yours. Yours are the eyes through which He is to go
