La Paz Esté Con Ustedes
Peace Be With You
Estimados hermanos y amigos de San Juan Bautista,
Cristo ha Resucitado; ¡En verdad ha Resucitado!
Las últimas palabras del Señor Jesús en la cruz fueron
“Todo está consumado;” sus primeras palabras después
de su resurrección a los reunidos en el cuarto superior
fueron “La Paz este con ustedes.” Lo que Cristo
completó en la cruz está íntimamente conectado con su
regalo de paz a sus temerosos discípulos. La muerte de
Cristo reconcilió a la humanidad con el Padre, y el primer
fruto de esa reconciliación es la PAZ. Ahora los
discípulos están reconciliados con el Padre, y con ellos
mismos. Una vez que nos hayamos reconciliado con
Dios, La PAZ es el fruto de esta nueva relación con el
Señor.
San Juan Bautista se regocija, felicita cariñosamente

Dear People and Friends of San Juan Bautista,
Christ is Risen; Truly He is Risen! The Lord
Jesus’ final words on the cross were “It is finished;”
his first words after his resurrection to those gathered
in the upper room were “Peace be with you.” What
Christ completed on the cross is intimately connected
to his gift of peace to the frightened disciples.
Christ’s death reconciled humanity to the Father, and
the first fruit of that reconciliation is PEACE. Now
the disciples were reconciled with the Father, with
each other, and with themselves. Once we are
reconciled with God, PEACE is the fruit of this
renewed relationship with the Lord.
San Juan Bautista rejoices in its newest members and
affectionately congratulations and welcomes these
newest recipients of this gift of PEACE; the 18 who
received Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion at the
Easter Vigil last Saturday:

también es conocido como el Domingo de la Divina Misericordia,
según fue revelado por el Señor a la hermana Faustina en Polonia en
1931. Jesús le dijo: Que ningún alma tema acercarse a Mi, aunque
sus pecados sean como escarlata. Mi Misericordia es tan grande que
ninguna mente, ya sea de hombre o de ángel, será capaz de
comprenderla a través de toda la Eternidad. La invitación del Señor es
para que confiemos y recibamos su Misericordia y su Paz.

All of these people experienced the Lord’s Divine Mercy
through these sacraments. Today, the Second Sunday of Easter is
also known as Divine Mercy Sunday, as revealed by the Lord
to Sister Faustina in Poland in 1931. Jesus spoke to her: “Let no
soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet.
My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel,
will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity.” The Lord’s
invitation is to trust and receive his mercy and Peace.

 FIELD TRIPS: Spring means field trips! Our 6-7-8 grade
students will visit Lancaster Catholic High School on
Tuesday, April 5, to see LCHS students perform Meet Me
in St. Louis. Third grade will learn about the one-room
schoolhouse at Carter and Mac Rae Elementary.
 MASS: Seventh grade will lead the school Mass on
Thursday, April 7, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua
Church.

Any boy or girl (in grades 4th thru 12th who has
received first communion) who would like to become an
altar server is invited to our training sessions every
Wednesday @ 6:30 pm beginning with the rosary. Come
serve the Lord by serving at the Holy Mass. Fr. Wolfe is

PREPARACIÓN BAUTISMAL 2 Sesiones Requeridas
Antes de que un bebé o un niño menor de 7
años pueda ser bautizado, los padres deben
asistir a la Sesión-I para Padres, que se lleva a
cabo el 2do Sábado de cada mes a las 9:00 AM.
Luego, y solo después de haber asistido a la
primera clase, podrán asistir junto con los padrinos a la
Sesión II para Padres y Padrinos. Los padres que estén
esperando bebes pueden tomar la clase antes de que
nazca el bebé. Se requiere registración por adelantado,
pase por la oficina parroquial. La próxima clase para
padres es el 9 de Abril.
Baptismal Preparation – 2 Sessions required
Before an infant or a child under 7 years of age can be
baptized, the parents must attend the Parents’ Class for
Baptism, which is held the 2 nd Saturday of each month @
9:00AM. Then, and only then, the parents with the godparents
attend Baptism Preparation Session II on the 4 th Sat. of the
month @ 9:00AM. Parents must register at the parish office.
April 9th is the next date for Session I.
