SPECIAL MASS: We will have mass with special
prayers for the sick, Sunday, June 24th, 2012. The Holy
Mass celebration will start at 3:30pm. The main
celebrant is Father Dario Betancourt. All are invited!
OUR LADY OF PERTUAL HELP: The novena for Our
Lady of Perpetual Help here at the parish will begin on
Sunday, June 24th, 2012 before the masses. We will
also pray the novena with Mass at 7:30pm on
weekdays. We will celebrate mass in honor of Our
Lady of Perpetual Help on Wednesday, June 27th at
7:30pm followed by fellowship. The Redemptorists
will have the novena and masses at Saint Patrick’s
Cathedral beginning June 25 – 27 at 5:30pm.
Family Life/Respect Life Office: The Separated and
Divorced Ministry of the Family Life/Respect Life
Office is searching for volunteers, preferably persons
who are divorced or separated who would be willing
to facilitate a support group in their parish. Persons
interested should contact Carmen Noschese, ministry
coordinator, at 917-848-7002 or 212-371-1011 ext 3194.
All facilitators will receive training and ongoing
follow-up regarding this important and much needed
ministry.
COUPLE’S GROUP: Saint Cecilia and Movimiento
Matrimonio Catolico is invite all couples to an
afternoon of music, food with the theme of how to
communicate better with each other. All is free and we
will begin soon after the 11:30am mass. The event will
be on Sunday, June 24th, 2012 conducted in Spanish.
SAINT MARTIN THE DE PORES: The members devoted
to Saint Martin de Pores are inviting men and women from
the parish to join them. They meet once a month, on the
NEW YORK, NY
third Sunday, to pray together and organize their social
calendar and outreach.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: The
children from the Religious Education
Program will receive their First Holy
Communion on Sunday, June 10th in the 11:30am mass.
Please keep these children in your prayers that they
may keep growing in faith and their love of the
Eucharist.

AUGUST 11th CONCERT: Friends of Saint Cecilia,
from the couple’s movement, in the Bronx, have
partnered with us for a concert at Cardinal Hayes High
School. The doors open at 4:00pm with various artists:
Aramis Camilo, Venice Sadel, Richi Sepeda, and
Felix Bautista. There will be a raffle of iPad 2, selling
food and lots of surprises. The cost is only $25.00
dollars. Come all for an evening of bachata, merengue
and salsa! All the proceeds will go towards the roof.
FATHER’S DAY: On Sunday, June 17th we will
celebrate Father’s Day. I am asking the
parishioners to pray for the deceased fathers and
also for single fathers. Take an envelope at the
back of the church and remember your father,
living or deceased.
THE M OST HOLY BODY & BLOOD OF
CHRIST : The Liturgical Committee is
preparing the celebration of Corpus Christi,
the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ with a
Eucharist procession. We are asking all our
parishioners to cooperate in making this day memorable
as a day of witnessing our faith in the community. The
procession will be after the 11:30am mass on
Sunday, June 10th.
STS PETER AND PAUL: The feast
of Saints Peter and Paul is the main
feast of the congregation of the
Apostles of Jesus, the congregation that is ministering
here at Saint Cecilia. The Apostles of Jesus will mark
this day with mass at 6:00pm – you are all invited.
MOST HOLY TRINITY

MISA ESPECIAL: Vamos a tener la
misa de sanacion con una oración
especial por los enfermos, el Domingo,
24 de junio 2012. La celebración de la
Santa Misa se iniciará a las 3:30 pm. El celebrante

SAN MARTIN DE PORRES: Los miembros de
San Martín de Porres están invitando a hombres y
mujeres de la parroquia a unirse a ellos. Se reúnen
una vez al mes para orar juntos y organizar su
calendario social.
Primera Comunión: Los niños del
Programa de Educación Religiosa
recibirán su Primera Comunión el
Domingo, 10 de junio en la Misa de 11:30 am. Por
favor, mantenga estos niños en sus oraciones para que
puedan seguir creciendo en la fe y su amor por la
Eucaristía.
NUESTRA SEÑORA DEL PERPETUO SOCORRO: La
novena a Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, aquí en
la parroquia comenzará el Domingo, 24 de junio 2012
ante de todas las misas. También vamos a rezar la
novena con una misa a las 7:30 pm los miércoles.
Vamos a celebrar la misa en honor de Nuestra Señora
del Perpetuo Socorro en Miércoles, 27 de junio a las
7:30 pm seguido por un compartir. Los Redentoristas
tendrán la novena y las misas en la Catedral de San
Patricio a partir 25 a 27 junio a las 5:30 pm.
Vida Familiar / la oficina Respeto a la Vida: El
Ministerio de Separados y Divorciados de la Oficina de
Vida Familiar de la Vida / Esta en la búsqueda de
voluntarios, de preferencia las personas que están
divorciadas o separadas, que estarían dispuesto a facilitar un
grupo de apoyo en su parroquia. Las personas interesadas
deben ponerse en contacto con Carmen Noschese, el

Santos Pedro y Pablo: La fiesta de los Santos Pedro y
Pablo es la fiesta principal de la congregación de los
Apóstoles de Jesús, la congregación que está
ministrando aquí en Santa Cecilia. Los Apóstoles de
Jesús celebraran este día con una misa a las 6:00 pm
- están todos invitados.

DIA DEL PADRE: El domingo, 17 de junio
celebraremos el Día del Padre. Estoy pidiendo a los
feligreses a orar por los padres fallecidos y también
para padres solteros. Tome un sobre en la parte
posterior de la iglesia y recuerda su padre, vivo o
muerto.
CONCIERTO 11 DE AGOSTO: Los Amigos de Santa
Cecilia, y de la Iglesia, Santa Ángela Merici en el Bronx, se
han asociado con nosotros para un concierto en el Cardenal
Hayes High School. Las puertas se abren a las 4:00 pm con
varios artistas: Aramis Camilo, Venice Sadel, Richi
Sepeda, y Felix Bautista. Habrá un sorteo de un IPad 2, la
venta de comida y muchas sorpresas. El costo es de sólo $
25.00 dólares. Vamos todos a una noche de bachata,
merengue y salsa! Todos los fondos recaudados se
destinarán al techo.
El Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo: El
Comité Litúrgico está preparando la celebración del
Corpus Christi, Santísimo Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo
con una procesión Eucarística. Les pedimos a todos
nuestros feligreses a cooperar para hacer de este día
memorable como un día de testimonio de nuestra fe en
la comunidad. La procesión será después de la Misa
de 11:30 am el domingo, 10 de junio.
Monaguillos: Reunión Sábado 9 de Junio a la 3:00pm
en la iglesia para discutir & registrase el viaje de Gran
Aventura de Junio. Hay espacio para 30 personas,
incluyendo a los padres. Si no viene a la reunión, no
podrá ir en el viaje.
