ANOINTING OF THE SICK-NOTE TO REMEMBER
UNCIÓN DE LOS ENFERMOS-RECORDATORIO
Please remember that the Anointing of the Sick is taking
place the second Saturday of the month. In English at
9:00am Mass and in Spanish at 7:00am Mass. The next
anointing will take place on March 12, 2016.
TURN YOUR CLOCK AHEAD
On Saturday, March 12th, before you go to bed, remember
to turn your clock ahead 1 hour. It soon will be Spring so
we spring ahead by turning your clocks forward 1 hour.

PARKING FOR CHURCH
We have been informed that there are some individuals claiming
to be Blessed Sacrament Church parishioners. It has been noted
that such individuals will park their cars in the school parking
Lot during business hours and even leave their cars overnight.
We want to inform you that PARISHIONERS OF BLESSED
SACRAMENT CHURCH, CAN NOT PARK IN THAT
SPACE SINCE IT BELONGS TO THE NEW YORK CITYBOARD OF EDUCATION. We are not authorizing anyone to
park in that side during weekdays, therefore claiming to be a
parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church does not grant individuals permission to park in the school parking lot. Our parishioners are only allowed to park there on weekends during
Mass attendance. Please be awar e that, if you par k in the
school parking lot, your car will be towed by the City of New
York Towing Department. In order to avoid having your car
towed, we ask you to please cooperate with us. Thank you for
your attention to this matter.

ESTACIONAMIENTO DE LA PARROQUIA
Hemos sido informados que hay personas que dicen ser feligreses
de la parroquia del Santísimo Sacramento y están estacionando sus
autos en el parqueadero de la Escuela Pública durante la semana ,en
horas de escuela, e inclusive dejan sus coches de un día para otro. El
hecho de que digan que vienen a la Iglesia no garantiza que su auto
sea retirado del lugar. Deseamos informarles que NINGÚN FELIGRÉS ESTÁ AUTORIZADO A ESTACIONAR EN ESE ESPACIO PUESTO QUE AHORA PERTENECE AL MINISTERIO
DE EDUCACIÓN PÚBLICA. La Iglesia no esta autorizando a ningún feligrés a estacionarse ahí, excepto en el fin de semana durante
los horarios de Misa. Por favor mantengan en mente que si ustedes estacionan sus autos de ese lado, será su responsabilidad al momento que el Departamento de Grúa de la Ciudad de Nueva York
se lleve su auto. Para evitar esta situación, por favor, pedimos su
colaboración evitando así que su carro sea retirado por no cumplir
con regulaciones de la ciudad y de la Iglesia. Por favor colabore con
nosotros. Gracias por su atención a este asunto.

Thanks to the generosity of 71 families to date, we have reached secured pledges amounting to 42% of
our minimum goal of $950,000.

Why is making a pledge important?
Pledging permits the donor to consider a wonderful gift of substance that will allow our Parish to fulfill
its target. It allows for a substantial gift within the economical means of the donor. Pledging allows for
a thorough review of one’s finances. Through this review, one can assess what we can come to sacrifice, for five years, to continue strengthening our Church.
What happens if our situation changes?
We are aware that one’s circumstances can change over a five-year period. Please remember that all
pledges are non-legally binding and can be altered at any time. A pledge will not be passed onto one’s
family.
Remember, this campaign is about equal sacrifice – not equal gifts!

¿Por qué es importante hacer una promesa?
Comprometerse, permite al donante considerar un generoso regalo sustancial que va a permitir que nuestra
Parroquia cumpla con su objetivo. El regalo sustancial se hace dentro de las posibilidades económicas del
donante. Comprometerse, permite una revisión a fondo de nuestras propias finanzas. A través de esta revisión, se puede evaluar lo que podemos llegar a sacrificar, durante cinco años, para continuar el fortalecimiento de nuestra Iglesia.
¿Qué pasa si nuestra situación cambia?
Somos conscientes de que las circunstancias de uno pueden cambiar a lo largo de un período de cinco años.
Recuerde que todas las promesas no son precisamente vinculantes y pueden ser modificadas en cualquier
momento. Una promesa no es hereditaria.
¡Recuerde que esta Campaña se trata de un sacrificio igual, mas no de una cantidad igual!
