BISHOP’S ANNUAL APPEAL THANK YOU to all who have responded to the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. This is our progress thus far: St. Paul’s target goal is $18,406, and so far $10,110 has been pledged by 38 of the 135 registered families. Holy Family’s target goal is $2,546 with $1,425 currently pledged by 8 of the 23 registered families. St. William’s target goal is $5,461 and $3,535 has been pledged by 12 of the 37 registered families. Again, thanks to all who havecontributed. (BAA envelopes are available in each church. Rosemary Lewis & Mary Fountain PERFORMANCE AT ST. ANDREW On April 29, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Douglas will host a performance of the Choir of St. John’s Church in Savannah at 4:00pm. They will be singing traditional Anglican Choral Evensong; the public is invited. El Cirio tiene varios simbolos que representan lo siguiente: La Cruz nos recuerda que Jesús murio por nosotros para salvarnos. Los 5 clavos representan las cinco llagas de Jesús, la A-Omega significan que Jesucristo es eterno y que siempre está presente con su pueblo. Cada Sabado Santo durante la Vigilia Pascual se enciende un Cirio Pascual Nuevo el Cual se usa para el Sacramento del Bautismo y VIGILIA PASCUAL COLECTA ESPECIAL PARA EL FONDO DE RETIRO LOS SACERDOTES DIOCESANOS En Semana Santa vamos a tener una Colecta Especial para el Fondo de Retiro de los Sacerdotes Diocesanos.
