FUEL COLLECTION
In anticipation of the winter months and the high cost of
fuel, I am writing to ask your support of the fuel collection. This weekend, November 8th & 9th, the second collection will be taken up to help offset the costs of heating
the church. Thank you for your generosity.
VETERAN’S DAY
On Tuesday, November 11, 2014 is Veteran’s Day. The Rectory
Office will be closed for the holiday. There will be Mass at
7:00am & 9:00am. The Church will close after 9:00am Mass. On
this day, let us remember the Veterans of past years in our prayers. Let us not forget those presently serving our country in the
Armed Forces around the world. Enjoy the holiday.

row on the right side of the Church near the large image of
Our Lady of Guadalupe.

DIOCESAN LENTEN PILGRIMAGE
The Diocese is having a Lenten Pilgrimage in Celebration of
the 500th Anniversary of St. Teresa of Avila. It will be visiting Fatima, Lisbon, Avila, Madrid, Segovia, Toledo.

BRIDGE TO LIFE
The Bridge to Life is in dire need of boys’ baby clothes size
3-6 months (no newborn size please), as well as boys’ toddler clothes 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Crib sheets are also needed.

SAFE ENVIROMENT PROGRAM
Our Parish complies with all Safe Environment mandates set
forth by the Diocese of Brooklyn and the US Conference of
Catholic Bishops. All employees and volunteers who have
contact with children must attend a Virtus session, sign a
code of conduct, and submit to a background search. If you

BEREAVEMENT PROGRAM
Blessed Sacrament Church is pleased to announce a Bereavement

PUENTE DE VIDA
El Puente de Vida Inc. Esta en necesidad de ropa para niños de 3
a 6 meses ( por favor no traigan ropa para bebes recién nacidos),
también se necesita ropa para niños de 3, 4, 5, 6 y 7 años de
edad. Sabanas para cunas son necesarias en este momento. Les

Nuestra Parroquia cumple con todos los mandatos de l Ambiente Seguro establecidos por la Diócesis de Brooklyn y la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos de EE.UU. Todos los empleados y
