Dear Sisters and Brothers,
With this bulletin, we have included a special bulletin insert
“God’s Gift of Forgiveness.” The
focus of the article is on reconciliation and the gift of the Sacrament
of Reconciliation or Confession
which is uniquely celebrated in the
Catholic Church.
The Gospel this Sunday reveals an angry Jesus
driving out the vendors from the Temple. It must
have been quite a sight to see! The last lines of the
Gospel are these: “But Jesus would not trust himself
to them because he knew them all, and did not need
anyone to testify about human nature. He himself
understood it well.” There is something consoling
about that last line. Jesus understands our human
nature. So often our best efforts to make changes in
our lives meet with lack of success or we back track
a bit. Jesus who understands our human nature
reaches out to us with kindness and mercy.
This month we will have a Parish Reconciliation
Service on Wednesday, March 18th at 6:30 p.m. It is
a marvelous opportunity to receive the healing gift
of Jesus’ forgiveness especially during this Lenten
Season. If you have been away from this sacrament,
you are not alone. Do not let a time lapse keep you
from returning to the Lord. God understands our
human nature. God created us and loves us.
We have some sheets available at the entrances of
church for those who need some assistance with the
sacrament. These sheets were sent to us by the Diocese with the intent of assisting persons to feel more
comfortable.
The Reconciliation Service will offer the opportunity for individual Confession. We also have that
opportunity every Saturday from 3:15-3:45 p.m. in
English. We are also offering more opportunities
for confession in Spanish during the month of
March. Please see that schedule on the Reconciliation Room door and in the bulletin.
One of the beautiful songs we sing during Lent
includes these words, “Come back to me with all
your heart. Don’t let fear keep us apart.” We need
not fear the God of extravagant love.

supper (pot-luck, please bring something to share!) & 6:00
sessions begin. The speaker for the adults is Joe Tremblay,
Adult Faith Forma on Coordinator for the Diocese. Our focus
for the evening is, “We Believe in the Death & Resurrec on.”
The “Easter Triduum”(Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday) is the “mother” of all feasts in the Church; all other feasts
flow out of the Paschal Mystery—the death & resurrec on of
Jesus. How do we experience the death & resurrec on of

Programa Discípulos de Cristo
Discípulos de Cristo es un programa diocesano de
formación para ministerio dentro de la Iglesia. Es
para hombres y mujeres que desean servir a la Iglesia
de la Diócesis de Green Bay. Consiste en cursos de
6 semanas a lo largo de tres años de septiembre a
marzo. Los cursos cubren temas como Escritura del
Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, Moralidad, Liturgia,
Sacramentos, Oración y Espiritualidad. Si desea más
información sobre este programa, puede consultar
con la Hna. Patricia en la Oficina Parroquial o con
uno de las varias personas de nuestra parroquia que
se han graduado del programa. (Hna. Patricia puede
ponerse en contacto con uno de ellos.) Es una oportunidad maravillosa para aprender más de nuestra fe
y prepararse para ser más activo en la Parroquia.
¿Y usted pensó que su factura del
gasto de calefacción estuvo alto?
La factura (gas y electricidad) para el
edificio principal de San Felipe del
mes más reciente fue de $6,052. ¡Es caro
mantener un edificio! Este es tan solo uno de los
muchos gastos que San Felipe incurre cada mes,
este siendo especialmente alto durante los meses
del invierno. Lo que usted pueda aportar para
apoyo de su parroquia es infinitamente agradecido.
LA RECEPCIÓN DE LA SANTA COMUNIÓN
Cuando recibimos en la mano, la manera correcta
es extender las dos manos, una encima de la otra, de
acuerdo a la imagen de abajo y decir “Amen” que
significa “yo creo”. No es correcto recibir la Sagrada Hostia con dos dedos.

Si desea llevar a su casa la imagen de la Virgen,
comuníquese con la Sra. Elvia Navarro al

Mensaje de Nuestra Líder Pastoral
Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Con este boletín, hemos incluido un
folleto especial titulado "El Don del
Perdón de Dios". El enfoque del
artículo es la reconciliación y el regalo
del Sacramento de la Reconciliación o
confesión que se celebra de manera
especial en la Iglesia Católica.
El Evangelio este domingo revela a un Jesús
enojado expulsando a los vendedores del templo. ¡Ha
de haber sido todo un espectáculo! Las últimas líneas
del Evangelio son: “Pero Jesús no se fiaba de ellos
porque los conocía a todos y no necesitaba que alguien
le informara de los otros, porque él sabía lo que hay en
el hombre.” Hay algo consolador en esta última línea.
Jesús entiende nuestra naturaleza humana. A menudo
nuestros mejores esfuerzos para hacer cambios en
nuestras vidas, se encuentran con falta de éxito o un
poco de retraso. Jesús quien entiende nuestra
naturaleza humana llega a nosotros con compasión y
bondad.
Este mes tendremos un Servicio de Reconciliación
Parroquial el miércoles, 18 de marzo a 6:30 p.m. Es
una oportunidad maravillosa para recibir el don
curativo del perdón de Jesús, especialmente durante
este tiempo de Cuaresma. Si usted ha estado alejado
de este Sacramento, no está solo. No permita que el
lapso del tiempo le impida regresar al Señor. Dios
entiende nuestra naturaleza humana. Dios nos creó y
nos ama.
Tenemos algunas hojas disponibles en las entradas
de la iglesia para aquellos que necesitan ayuda con el
Sacramento. Estas hojas nos fueron enviadas por la
Diócesis con la intención de ayudar que las personas
se sientan más cómodas.
El Servicio de Reconciliación ofrecerá la
oportunidad para confesión individual. También
tenemos esa oportunidad todos los sábados de 3:153:45 en Inglés. También estamos ofreciendo más
oportunidades para la confesión en Español durante el
mes de marzo. Consulte el horario localizado en la
puerta de la Sala de Reconciliación y en el boletín.
Una de las canciones hermosas que cantamos
durante la Cuaresma incluye las siguientes palabras
"vuelve a mí con todo tu corazón. No permitas que el
miedo nos separe." No hay que temer al Dios de amor
extravagante.

TIEMPO DE CUARESMA
Como Católicos estamos obligados
a cumplir con las penitencias de la
Cuaresma. Mayores de 14 años en
adelante deben abstenerse de carne
todos los viernes de Cuaresma.
Durante el tiempo de Cuaresma
todos están invitados a participar
cada viernes en el Grupo de Reflexión de 6-7
pm y el Vía Crucis a las 7:00pm.

LAS PALMAS
Es tiempo de traer sus palmas del pasado Domingo de Ramos 2014. Como es costumbre, estas
palmas son quemadas y las cenizas utilizadas el
año siguiente. Favor de colocar sus palmas en la
caja azul localizada en la entrada de la iglesia.
LAS FLORES
Puesto que estamos en el Tiempo de Cuaresma, un tiempo de austeridad y penitencia, por
favor absténganse de traer flores a la iglesia
durante estas seis semanas.
“Quiten todo de aquí y no conviertan en un
mercado la casa de mi Padre.” Jn. 2, 16
BAUTIZOS
Los Bautizos se realizan cada 2do y 3er sábado del
mes, pero no durante la Cuaresma. Para celebrar un Bautizo es necesario acercarse a la Oficina Parroquial con el
certificado de nacimiento del niño. Si los padres no están
registrados en la Parroquia es necesario hacerlo.
Oración para el Año de la Vida Consagrada
Oh Dios, Tú a través de los tiempos has llamado a
mujeres y hombres a fin de que vivan la caridad perfecta por medio de los consejos evangélicos de la pobreza, la castidad y la obediencia. Durante este Año
de la Vida Consagrada Te damos gracias por estos
valientes testigos de la fe, que son también modelos
de inspiración. Con su empeño por lograr la santidad
ellos nos enseñan a ofrecerte nuestra vida de una manera más perfecta. Te pedimos que continúes enriqueciendo a tu Iglesia con hijos e hijas que, habiendo
encontrado la perla de gran valor, atesoran el Reino
de los Cielos por encima de todas las cosas. Por
nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Tu Hijo, que vive y reina
contigo en la unidad del Espíritu Santo y es Dios por
los siglos de los siglos, Amén.
