Our campaign “Acts 4:32 – Keep the Faith” is designed to be uncomplicated. Pledges are for a 10-month period (easy to divide your total donation!).
We are relying upon the generosity of many of you to please consider
making a cash donation since this allows us to put our funds to use right
away – and perhaps to even reduce the amount of debt we need to incur
in a re-modified loan. We are relying on all parishioners to please choose
to continue the level of support that you are already offering each month to
our Building Fund. If possible, could you increase your support? Talk to
your family. Pray about it. Then join us in completing Phase 2.
On our pledge cards you can select from 3 options: A one-time cash
pledge; a cash donation plus a 10-month pledge; or simply a 10-month
pledge. You will receive envelopes that can be collected at the church hall
to use in fulfilling your promise. The envelopes allow us to properly record
your gift. Pretty simple actually.

TOYS = NOISE
Parents, we are noticing a number of children bringing hard plastic toys to
church. We would ask you to kindly leave these at home. When dropped,
they make noise and children tend to play with them which distracts other
children whose attention is drawn to the toys. Soft stuffed animals or religious books are an acceptable choice if your child needs something to
hold his/her concentration. But toys, including electronic video devices, are
inappropriate at a Catholic Mass.
GUM PATROL
DNA analysis is being conducted upon the large piece of bubble gum
found on the center aisle tiles in the chapel. Pray you are not a match. But
if you ARE a match, do not pray in the chapel anymore while chewing
gum. In fact, do not chew gum while on our entire campus grounds; we
plan to remain here for quite some time and would prefer that you do not
leave your mark for future generations. And that is exactly how long chewing gum stains can last = for generations!

los Ministerios
de la parroquia
a que participen en esta Kermes.
Pueden participar vendiendo comida, con un puesto de juegos o
algún entretenimiento. Si desea

Al comenzar nuestro periodo de compromiso (Noviembre – Diciembre)
para nuestra campaña de recaudar fondos para la construcción Fase 2,
anticipamos con esperanza el apoyo de todos los feligreses para poder
tener a tiempo la apertura de las nuevas oficinas y salones ministeriales
en Otoño del 2014.
Nuestra campaña “Hechos 4:32 – “Mantener la Fe” es fácil de entender.
El Compromiso es por un lapso de 10 meses (¡fácil de dividir su donación
total!).
Estamos dependiendo de la generosidad de muchos de ustedes a que de
favor consideren hacer su donación en efectivo, esto nos permite disponer
de los fondos inmediatamente - y quizás para reducir la deuda que debemos al modificar el préstamo. Estamos dependiendo de todos los feligreses a que elijan continuar con el mismo apoyo que están ofreciendo cada
mes para la Edificación de Fondos. ¿Si es posible, podrían aumentar su
apoyo? Platique con su familia. Ore sobre esto. Después acompáñenos a
terminar la Fase 2.
Nuestras tarjetas de compromiso tienen 3 opciones para seleccionar: Una
sola donación en efectivo; una donación en efectivo y 10-meses mas de
compromiso; o solo 10-meses de compromiso. Usted recibirá sobres los
cuales podrá encontrar en el salón de la parroquia y usarlos para dar su
promesa cada mes. Los sobres nos permite registrar apropiadamente su

"¿Es Católica?"
Varios feligreses me han preguntado sobre algunas parroquias diferentes
en el área metropolitana de Phoenix que parecen ser Católicas pero en
cierta forma parecen ser diferentes. ¿Son estas Católicas
Usted debería saber que de hecho hay cerca de 21 ritos diferentes en la
Iglesia Católica. Por ejemplo: Romano (lo que somos en San Enrique),
bizantino, Ucraniana, Lebanon maronita, Melquita, Mozambique, Ambrosiana, India malabar a Siro, Iraq Caldeo, y algunos otros.
¡La diócesis de Phoenix tiene varias de estas comunidades y nosotros los
católicos romanos podemos asistir a misa en estas iglesias para experimentar la diversidad de su fe Católica! Usted también puede confesarse
y puede recibir Eucaristía en estas diócesis. Algunas de ellas combinan el
cuerpo de Cristo y la sangre de Cristo y usted los reciben juntos en una
cuchara. Sin embargo, no se sorprenda que algunos de estos sacerdotes
católicos se les permita estar casados.
Sin embargo, hay también "cismático" Iglesias Católicas en Phoenix que
celebran misa como lo hacían antes del año 1965 (en Latin) pero estas ya
no siguen al Papa de Roma. La única “Misa Latina” que está en unión con
el Papa de Roma es la Iglesia "Mater Misericordia" en el centro de Phoenix y usted tiene libertad de oír misa allí.
Hay también iglesias "católicas" falsas que usan nuestro nombre para
atrapar a las personas a que pertenezcan a lo que es realmente una iglesia protestante. Sus "sacerdotes" se visten como nosotros para engañar a
la gente, así es que sea precavido. En Phoenix tenemos a "la" Iglesia
Católica "ortodoxa" y "la" Iglesia Católica "apostólica" y "la antigua" Iglesia
Católica y algunos otros falsos mentirosos. Muchos hispanos sin darse
cuenta de ello van a estas iglesias para bautizar a sus niños. Siempre pregunte al "sacerdote" si él trabaja para el Obispo Thomas Olmsted y el Papa Francisco. ¡Si le contestan, “no” entonces es tiempo de IRSE!
