St. Martha Catholic Community
Our parish community is on its 15th year of its 2-WEEK OF
FEEDING AND SHELTERING approximately 160-180 homeless people each night from FEBRUARY 4-17, 2013. They
come from different areas in the East San Gabriel Valley. As
baptized Catholics Jesus has called us to feed and clothe the
poor (Mt 25:35-40). Different groups and ministries of St. Martha's Parish and neighboring churches are sponsoring one evening to feed them with dinner and provide them with sack
lunches on their way out each morning. Your help and support
are very much needed. Please support us by bringing any of the
following items/donations:
FOOD GROUP Rice/ Pasta/ Noodles, Coffee (Regular & Decaf in cans for
brewing) Tea bags (regular and decaf), Sugar and creamer (in
canisters), Boxes of Cereal (small), Fruits/Small Juices/Water/
Dinner Rolls/Muffins.
WINTER CLOTHES/FOOTWEAR
Jackets (Medium to Large sizes for men/women), Sweat Pants
& sweater (Large sizes), Socks (medium to large), Under wears
(Men/women medium to large), Gloves & bonnets, Shoes (Men
& Women).
TOILETRIES - All disposable
Toothbrush & toothpaste (trial sizes only), Razor & shaving
cream (small), Lotion (Trial sizes), Shampoo & Conditioner
(Trial sizes), Comb & brushes, Deodorant (small sizes), Feminine hygiene items (sanitary napkins, etc.)
TOWELS ARE ALSO NEEDED, PAPER GOODS
