Think of the church, always and at all times, as sacred space
and a sacred place. The church is, first and foremost, a place
of worship. It is not an auditorium, convention center, or
meeting hall. We are not filling in time before the
entertainment starts. The church is the primary place we
come to spend time with and be intimate with God. Listen to
the choir and let it move you into prayer.

NOTES FROM FATHER NICK
MASS TIMES
After almost a year at St. Paul, St. William, and
Holy Family, I have realized that I cannot continue
doing 4 Sunday Masses, running from one place to
another. Also, our Bishop wants the Pastors
present for religious education to interact with
teachers, parents, and students. This is impossible
with my present schedule. Therefore, we will need
to make a change.
As of July 1st, our Mass schedule (and religious
education classes) will be as follows:
Saturday
St. William 5:00pm – English Mass
6:00pm – Religious Ed. (in fall)
7:00pm – Spanish Mass
Sunday
Holy Family
8:00am
9:30am – English Mass
10:30am – Religious Ed. (in fall)
11:45am – Spanish Mass
Quinceaños & bodas will be 2:30pm Saturdays at
St. Paul, & 3:30pm Saturdays at St. William.

CONGRATULATIONS, MR. BRIGMOND
We congratulate Mr. Kenneth Brigmond for being
named the Douglas Enterprise “Father of the
Year.” Mr. Brigmond, the father of two, was
nominated for this honor by his daughter, Christine.

55TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. D. B. Morris on the
celebration of their 55th wedding anniversary on
June 22. Mary & D.B. attend Holy Family—where
they also were married 55 years ago.

who in Jesus Christ has given us his own life by the
gift of the Holy Spirit and has made it possible to
live as true sons and daughters of God through his
mercy. This faith brings us freedom and happiness.
Let us ask Mary, Mother of Life, to help us receive
and bear constant witness to the Gospel of Life.”

PRAYER FOR THE PARISH
Almighty God, my parish is composed of people
like me. I help make it what it is. It will be
friendly if I am. Its pews will be filled if I help fill
them. It will do great work, if I work. It will make
generous gifts to many causes, if I am a generous
giver. It will bring other people into its worship
and fellowship, if I bring them. It will be a parish
of loyalty and love, of justice and faith, and a parish
with a compassionate spirit, if I—who make it what
it is—am filled with these same qualities.
Therefore, with your help, O God, I will dedicate
myself to becoming what You want me to be, that I
might continue with Christ the building of
Your Kingdom on earth. Amen.

PIN YOUR PROBLEMS, BIG OR SMALL,
TO OUR PRAYER WALL
We have a new prayer ministry here at St. Paul—by
those who are sick/recovered for those who are sick
or troubled. In the vestibule, a bulletin board is set
up as our prayer wall. Slips of paper are there for
you to write your prayer requests (anonymous, if
you wish). Members of the prayer ministry will
then pray a rosary dedicated to your needs.

El costo de los vitrales que fueron instalado este
mes (que da terminación a todas las ventanas ven)
fue de $ 39,000.

El estacionamiento: $ 5,000

NUESTRO NUEVO MINISTERIO DE ORACIÓN
Vamos a comenzar un nuevo ministerio de oración
aquí en St. Paul-de los que están enfermos para los
que están enfermos o con problemas. Para algunos
de nosotros, con nuestras edades y aumentan las
enfermedades, nuestra capacidad física disminuye,
por otro lado, a menudo encontramos que nuestra
sensibilidad espiritual se aumenta, así que vamos a
orar por usted! Los miembros del ministerio de
oración rezaran un rosario dedicado a sus
necesidades.
ÓBOLO DE SAN PEDRO: COLECTA ESPECIAL FIN
DE SEMANA PRÓXIMA
Vamos a tener una colecta especial el próximo fin
de semana de Junio 29, para las obras caritativas de
todo el mundo con el Sucesor de Pedro,
el Papa Francisco.

Dios Todopoderoso, mi parroquia se compone de
gente como yo. Yo ayudo a que sea lo que es. Será
amistosa, si yo soy. Sus bancas estarán llenas, si yo
ayudo a llenarlas. Hará grandes trabajos, si yo
trabajo. Hará ofrendas generosas a muchas causas,
si soy un donante generoso. Traerá a otra gente a su
adoración y fraternidad, si yo los traigo. Va a ser
una parroquia de la lealtad y del amor, de la justicia
y la fe, y una parroquia con un espíritu compasivo,
si yo-que lo convierten en lo que es, estoy lleno de
estas mismas cualidades. Por lo tanto, con tu ayuda,
oh Dios, me dedicaré a convertirme en lo que tú
quieres que sea, que yo pueda continuar con Cristo
la construcción de su Reino en la tierra. Amén.

homes/hospitals and would like to visit everyone.

NEW COUNCIL AND
INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS
On Sunday, June 23 at the 9:30am Mass, the
charter will be presented of our new Knights of
Columbus Council and the installation of officers.
A reception for everyone will follow after Mass,
and the Knights invite all, especially perspective
members, to visit.
