ANOINTING OF THE SICK
The Anointing of the Sick will start taking place the second Saturday of the month. In English at 9:00am Mass and in Spanish at
7:00am Mass. On Saturday, November 14th at the 9:00am Mass,
we invite any person who is sick to be anointed. Please remember
that this sacrament is for those people who have an illness and
seek healing.

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE GROUP
-MEXICAN FOOD
This weekend, after every Mass, the Guadalupe Committee
invites you to come and taste the foods of Mexico in the
Parking Lot. All proceeds will go to support the celebration
of Our Lady of Guadalupe in December 12th, 2015. Come
join us for a bite!
VETERAN’S DAY
On Wednesday, November 11, 2015 is Veteran’s Day. The
Rectory Office will be closed for the holiday. There will be
Mass at 7:00am & 9:00am. The Church will close after
9:00am Mass. On this day, let us remember the Veterans of
past years in our prayers. Let us not forget those presently
serving our country in the Armed Forces around the world.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Blessed Sacrament Parish would like to congratulate Mrs. Laura
Ramirez Galeas, an old parishioner who has a Psychology Degree
background. Laura will be working with the Youth and young
adults amongst three parishes… Sacred Heart & St. Stephen, Visitation of the BVM and St. Paul/St. Agnes. Her salary is covered by
a grant received from the Office of Catholic Foundation. We wish
her many blessings in this new endeavor!
WORLD YOUTH DAY 2016
50/50 RAFFLE
We want to invite our community to purchase some tickets to
help the Youth Group to reunite with the Pope in Poland. Tickets are available in the Religious Store, Parish Offices and any
participant to WYD. Remember, by helping them you win as
well! The Raffle will take place the first Sunday of each
month. Next Raffle will be this Sunday, November 1st, 2015
during the 10:00am Mass. Winning number will be announced in the following bulletin.
MOVIE NIGHT
On Saturday, November 7th, 2015, we invite the families of
our community to come and enjoy all together! It will take
place in the Valero Hall from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Everybody is

DIA DE LOS VETERANOS
El Miércoles 11 de Noviembre es Día de los Veteranos. Las Oficinas de la Parroquia estarán cerradas por este día festivo. Únicamente habrá Misa de 7:00am y 9:00am. La Iglesia se cerrará después de la Misa de 9:00am. Oremos por los Veteranos de años
pasados, y no olvidemos a los que están sirviendo actualmente en
las Fuerzas Armadas alrededor del mundo.

GRUPO DE JÓVENES A POLONIA
RIFA 50/50
Deseamos invitar a nuestra comunidad para que compren algunos boletos para ayudar al Grupo de Jóvenes a asistir al encuentro con el Papa en Polonia. Los boletos están disponibles

THE RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR
ADULTS (RCIA)
RCIA will begin in the fall and will continue until after Easter of 2016. Formerly, these classes were called Convert Instruction. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) RCIA has shifted its
approach from a private commitment of conversation to a communal commitment. RCIA is an adult faith is a process leading
to reception into full communion with the Catholic Church. Do
you feel the Holy Spirit calling you to enter into full communion
with the Catholic Church? If you have ever reflected on making
such a decision, be at Peace! God, the Holy Spirit, is calling you
and He will lead you. We, the parish of Blessed Sacrament,
rejoice with you as you seek to respond to God’s call. The RCIA
process will help you to grow in Faith and understanding of the

RITO DE INICIACION CRISTIANA
PARA ADULTOS (RICA)
El RICA (Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos) Comenzara
en el otoño continuando hasta la Pascua de 2016. Inicialmente
estas clases se llamaban de Conversión. RICA cambio su enfoque
de un compromiso privado de conversión a un compromiso comunitario. RICA es un proceso de formación de la fe para adultos
que lleva a la recepción de una comunión completa con la Iglesia
Católica. ¿Siente usted que el Espíritu Santo le llama para entrar
en completa comunión con la Iglesia Católica? Si usted ha pensado en tomar esta decisión, ¡siéntase tranquilo! Dios, el Espíritu
Santo, le está llamando y Él le guiará. Nosotros, la Parroquia del

REJECTING HATRED
Rev. Patrick J. Ryan, S.J., the Laurence J. McGinley Professor of
Religion and Society at Fordham, will deliver the annual Fall
McGinley, “Rejecting Hatred: Fifty Years of Catholic Dialogue
with Jews and Muslims since Nostra Aetate” on Tuesday, November 10th at 6:00pm on the Lincoln Center Campus in
Manhattan. It will be repeated on Wednesday, November 11th,
2015 at 6:00pm on the Rose Hill Campus in The Br onx. The
Lecture will be followed by responses from Professor Magda
Teter, Scvidler Chair in Judaic Studies at Fordham and Professor
Hussein Rashid of Hofstra University. Bishop James Massa will
be the moderator on Wednesday evening. The lecture is free and
